The award recognises what we set out to do from day one: make dealing with your telco simpler, clearer and far less painful. Superloop App 2.0 puts customers in control of their internet and mobile services, from checking service health with Refreshify and managing plans and bills, to tracking orders, receiving outage updates and organising a house move (because moving house is painful enough without your internet joining in).

The Australian Good Design Awards jury praised Superloop App 2.0 for “transforming traditionally frustrating telco interactions into clear, self-service experiences that reduce customer effort and increase transparency”. It called out Refreshify and the Moving Home journey as strong examples of turning operational complexity into simple, useful customer experiences, backed by reduced support demand, improved customer satisfaction and strong adoption growth.

Superloop Chief Marketing Officer Ben Colman said the win was a proud moment for the teams behind the app and proof that starting with the customer leads to better design.

We started with a simple question: how do we give customers more control and take the hassle out of everyday telco moments? Our Superloop App 2.0 is the answer our teams built together. This award is fantastic recognition of their customer obsession, creativity and care — but the real win is making things easier for the people who use Superloop every day.

Designed in Australia by Superloop, Superloop App 2.0 was selected against the Awards’ criteria of Good Design, Design Innovation and Design Impact. That is a pretty great tick for an app built to put customers first.
