Telling it like it is: Enterprise Ethernet

There's a secret weapon in business circles – it's called nbn Enterprise Ethernet – and it's now being offered to Australian businesses by business internet providers.

Enterprise Ethernet is known for being super-fast and super-reliable, and it's the only method of net connection in Australia today that provides data with a symmetrical profile i.e. fast download speeds are matched in the upload speeds.

The thing is, Enterprise Ethernet isn't offered by all providers. So, you could be sold an internet business plan that promises Enterprise Ethernet levels of performance but is, possibly, Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) or Fibre-to-the-Curb (FTTC). That's why I'm making a point of detailing Enterprise Ethernet here, so you can ask for it by name, tease out the details and be confident of the deal you're getting.

The good news: Superloop's Probiz plans can be powered by nbn Enterprise Ethernet.

Superloop has also opted for the highest class of Enterprise Ethernet connection with the nbn, so our customers are never affected by congestion on the nbn network, particularly during business times. Some providers can technically say they offer Enterprise Ethernet, but the connection they've signed onto with nbn is a lower tier that limits the performance of their internet service.

The features of nbn Enterprise Ethernet are a feast for power users:

Enterprise Ethernet features

Symmetrical upload/download speeds

That can reach up to a lightning-fast 1Gbps/1Gbps (1000Mbps/1000Mbps) both ways. Great for upload-heavy applications such as video conferencing and cloud computing.

Enterprise-grade fibre connections

That operate on a more advanced, durable infrastructure – a complete fibre network – including dedicated fibre between your site and the Fibre Access Node (FAN).

Bandwidth flexibility when you need it

For online expansion as your business grows or as your data intensity increases.

High target availability

A higher target availability than standard internet connections – for example, the Superloop Probiz target sits at 99.95%.

Enterprise-grade support for the support

So you know you're in good hands because, as a business internet provider, we've got the ear of the nbn to help us solve even the trickiest dilemmas.

And...

Enterprise Ethernet works like this

Just two pieces of equipment are all that’s needed: a router (purchased from us or supplied by you) and a Business Network Termination Device (supplied by the nbn):

With high-performing internet connectivity no longer a luxury in business, it pays to have the ease of use, confidence and continuity that Enterprise Ethernet provides.

So, are you ready to reach for new heights in connectivity?
