Superloop's work with Morgans went beyond just switching on a business internet connection.

If you're reading this, you can probably already see the real benefits of Direct Fibre business broadband, and you're weighing up whether Superloop is the best business internet partner for you.

This is also the point where I get to boast about a specific success story, where Superloop delivered nbn Enterprise Ethernet to a big player in the financial services and investment market: Morgans Financial Limited.

It's fair to say, the stakes were really high with this one. We're talking about a corporation with a high internet risk – a team of around 500 advisers in 59 branches right across Australia who all needed to be online simultaneously and responding to real-time events and requests in the blink of an eye.

Morgans handed Superloop the challenge of reliably connecting their massive network of advisers, while also creating 'future-ready' capability so they could handle more digital

touchpoints as they emerged. Big considerations were (a) speed of the connectivity and (b) ensuring the security and privacy of their client data.

So, what happened was Superloop moved Morgans from a hub-and-spoke model hosted in the company's data centre to a more distributed architecture that better suits software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions. For the tech-heads out there, this meant replacing their more traditional multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) network with a new software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN).

As part of that, we updated old apps and helped them adopt a more modern approach for their digital infrastructure. This meant a whole lot of streamlining so they could hit their cost, security and customer service goals. Morgans also saw this as an opportunity to work on a new website and portal, and introduce Salesforce's CRM product suite into their processes.

As you can probably tell, Superloop's work with Morgans went beyond just switching on a business internet connection; it meant creating connectivity with a number of goals in mind, and then plotting the best course of action and the best product to meet these goals.

Morgan's Chief Information Officer, Matt Neubauer, had this to say about it:

“We value our partnership with Superloop and nbn, which has enabled us to transform our connectivity infrastructure and enhance our client experiences.”
